Roger Grogan, CEO

Jam Coding was founded as a part of Jam Thinking in 2014. The idea was simple. As a marketing agency, that was founded by a teacher and coder, there was an obvious skills and knowledge gap in the provision of quality computing provision for children, parents and schools in the UK. Jam Coding grew and was setup as it’s own company in 2019. We see good computing knowledge and proficiency as a life-skill, our workshops are developed in conjunction with O2 and have grown to cover the entire curriculum.

Becky Jackson has worked for leading technology academic institutions and has overseen the growth of the provision across her area. Becky is passionate about the difference the workshops make to the communities they serve.

Why Jam Coding…

We have been providing schools and children with innovative computing programmes and initiatives for over 5 Years . Over this period we have constantly updated, improved and refined our workshops and delivery model to what it is today.

With our extensive experience of designing and delivering workshops we have an outstanding reputation with the schools we work with. Year-on-year, term-on-term, we are growing and reaching more and more young people, helping them to enjoy and understand Coding and Digital Skills.

Goals and Objectives

Technology is advancing at an incredible rate, and we’re just getting started! Jam Coding believes that there’s never been a more exciting time to be involved with Science and Technology. Every child deserves the chance to unlock their innate, unlimited capacity to learn.

Whether or not they pursue coding, programming, designing, videography or any other digital skill as a career, we want to provide kids with inspiration and skills that will help them start their journey.

We also help children stay safe online

eSafety is a growing concern for the government. Schools, Colleges and Community Groups are targeted to have an impact in helping young people stay safe online. Our eSafety workshops were designed in conjunction with O2 and offer a 360 degree approach to eSafety.

These workshops have had a huge uptake and are another example of the continual product development that allow Jam Coding to have a positive impact on the communities that they work.
